One of my favorite home projects to do is paint and stain old furniture for a fresh new look. Most of the furniture in our home was given to us from family or friends or things we found on the side of the road. Yes, I love to trash pick! Only wood furniture though. I wouldn’t recommend trash picking anything with upholstery unless it’s something you can easily reupholster yourself. By the way, reupholstering side chairs is very simple to do and it’s an easy way to give a room a whole new look. I plan on doing a video to show soon. In the meantime, here are some pieces I have painted and/or stained myself.
